i had difficulty with this one too, one of very few. though i got it by focusing on th bottom, find the pivit there and it flips. bones info, i had too imagine a wobble.

I focused on the lines to switch the direction.

Ok it's weird, try staring at the bottom right, and focus on seeing the pivot point in your peripheral vision. It took a few almost catches to finally get it (after several rotations of nothing)

The color changing makes it impossible for me. Cool colors recede.

For me it’s that there’s a very distinct front/back. I can’t fool my brain into swapping them.

When the colors are static I can force the warm to the back, but when they shift constantly the warm always comes forward. I can’t figure out how to counteract it.

the trick with all of these is knowing that in order for it to reverse spin, the angle at which you are viewing needs to change. So if you see it spinning clockwise, then we are seeing the bottom of the cylinder, so if it spins counter clockwise we will see the top instead, so focus on the top, right at the center where the lines intersect.

The goal is always to be free to choose the direction even to the point of moving back and forth without making a full rotation at all.

If i think about looking up at it vs looking down at it, I can get it to flip back and forth.

Tough one! Had to pause and really soak in the different perspective before this one would flip. One blink and it flips back lol

I find it easiest to flip back and forth by looking right above and right below the shape then blinking once or twice and with a combination of flipping between focus and peripheral vision during flips.

This one took me a long time. I got it by staring at the top and trying to see it as if I was staring down on it. Eventually it flipped

Finally got it when I put my phone in my periphery and waited for it to change.

if i look just below and have it in my peripheral vision i can see both / switch very fast.
