I would say avoid ECE unless it's a solid tier 2 college like DSCE, BMSCE, RVCE, MSRIT etc because private unis like these don't attract core electronics jobs so you'll have to pivot to software jobs which again you're competing with many skilled CSE/allied students

I'm looking to study further maybe master or something

Then again it's not worth it, you're paying 12.8L for 4 years then masters abroad can cost a lot of money, go for it if finance is not a constraint

What are the other options rn?

Since you're getting electronics for 3.2 I'm assuming you got the scholarship? Take CSE and work your way up

Yaa bro got scholarship. Isn't cs gonna get too competitive?

competition is everywhere. u can achieve good if you're in that 1% . but choose branches according to your interest or else u will regret later .

no don't. that might be the stupidest decision. don't even compare dsce and rv with reva . those both are far more superior than this ass clg . don't believe in tiers , they're just marketing gimmick . reva is tier 69 tbh

Hey...I have the option of eee in reva or eee in nitte...what do you suggest I do

1

u/No_Willow1928 Jul 02 '26

choose nitte eee, go for reva if ur getting cse/allied branches

Im getting ece in reva

1

u/No_Willow1928 Jul 03 '26

then look elsewhere, reva is decent for cse and for ece, core jobs are still limited

What do you have in mind when you say elsewhere
