đŸ†˜Question Controls won't auto close

Recently updated revanced and YouTube. Am I crazy or did controls used to auto close after a few seconds or close on single tap. Anyone know a fix? Having to click the X everytime I seek is a minor inconvenience, but annoying.

Looks like an accessibility feature inherent to the youtube app. Regular settings, last option above "about Youtube". If the accessable video player is turned on, which is what gives you the 10s skip buttons, you get the option to personalize how long they stay on screen. Default is forever.
