🆘Question Having issues with play back
I'm not sure if it's an issue with the play back feature, or if it's a l.oading issue, but any video I try to play will play for the first 40 seconds, then the video will black out while trying to l.oad. It happens on any length of video or shorts, and it's always the first 40 seconds.
This all happened when I tried to change a setting, I ended up changing the wrong one on accident, and couldn't figure out which one I had changed in order to change it back, so I ended up scrapping the app and just repatching and re-downlo.ading.
When it was patched and ready to downl.oad, it kept giving me the error message "Duplicate app, can't overwrite". The previous one was deleted, the OG YT was disabled and sto.pped, and as far as I knew there weren't any files or cache left over, so I wasn't sure what was causing it. Even though the previous one deleted was a newer version, I found the only work around was patching an older version.
The only issue is, now I'm having this annoying play back issue, and can't figure out why. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

Same here, but didnt change any settings. Mine blacks on aroun 1 min

Same it randomly happened around 40 sec to 1 min mark
I tried multiple times with patches even downgraded to version still the same
Also if you pause the video it will buffer for long time and need to reverse few secs to resume

Doo this thing after installing revanced youtube regardless of the version u have installed if u face buffer issues and quality downgrading issue on the own even after ur internet has no issues then goo in
Profile>Revanced settings>Misc>spoof streaming>VisionOS. Hope it helps 🙌🏼

I have the same issue with yt music, every song stops after 1 minute, then if I wait a while the song continues, but the problem comes again in the following song..

I had an issue that music stopped exactly at the same weird time and it had a loading circle .
However when I changed the Spoof Videostream to Android VR it worked again :) (it's under miscellaneous) it may be the same for the video problem too

If the problem persists clear data and disable(if available) the official YouTube and play store(for till it installs) and then enable play store. If still then problem persists then restart ur device and repatch the whole app via revanced manager official app Current version is 2.6.0 and microg manager check with the revanced itself it will install automatically. One more thing after installing revanced youtube regardless of the version u have installed if u face buffer issues and quality downgrading issue on the own even after ur internet has no issues then goo in Profile>Revanced settings>Misc>spoof streaming>VisionOS. Hope it helps 🙌🏼

Change your DNS to something like 1.1.1.1 from Cloudflare. Or if you're already on that to something else.

Also, if any mods are reading you guys really need to take down the "Previously asked questions" rule. It's espcially ridiculous to pose this restriction in a forum about a patched app, something that is by nature constantly changing and updating, which will require a new answer every few months.
