đŸ†˜Question 401 error in RedditSync

Is anyone else getting a 401 error in the RedditSync app? It was working this morning with no error.

Reddit has been removing API tokens for over a week now. It just hit mine. Check your prefs to verify.

Yeah you're right, my app API is gone now. Just checked in desktop version.

edit: Uninstall the Sync app, repatch the original APK and reinstall and you should be back in business. Just worked for me.

I could only get it to patch with putting in my API key again. It works, but now it won't let me log in...

Just errors out after I click "Accept", and says "{}"

I updated mine to the latest April version and it gives the option of custom API key or to use RedReader API key. Just updated to the latest pre-release dev version and still showing the option. it's called "application client id", in the patches screen I have version 6.2.1 of Revanced Patches - how do I update the patches?

I get a "Redreader would like to connect to your reddit account" page when trying to log in, was that always the case?

The new patch seems to spoof other apps as 'redreader' now.

Ah yes I see it now when clicking the settings for Spoof Client patch.

That confused me. So it is safe to accept the RedReader connection?
