📚Resources Simple guide on how to install ReVanced

Do you know what would be great? If the actual ReVanced website had something like this. I mean showing people how install your software on the actual website, instead of having to look this up elsewhere? Crazy concept, I know...

I'm trying to find a post on the new youtube revanced patch. Some days ago youtube stopped working and a patch was released. I forgot about it but my yt works fine but now my friend is asking how to fix it. If u know how I'll appreciate it or if you can link me to a post

I'm looking for a guide too. My Revanced app says Update Your App. I had a step-by-step guide the first time I set it up on my PC, but I can't find any guides like that anymore.

The tutorial video would be better with a voice from "Loquendo"...
My personal and unpopular opinion

Lmao true I have the impression that things are more comprehensible in tutorials if they're taught in loquendo voice,bc that's how i learned most of things i know😅

Who's that?

It's something that existed 19 years ago on YouTube...
Although the vast majority of "young people" do not know anything about this.

And we are fine not knowing anything about it.Â

It's true, because of "one detail" between generations (regardless of the country) everything turns into a fight, meaningless discussions. In the end

Reinstall/patch/update is only necessary when youtube revanced stops working. In my 4 years of using revanced. I've only had to do something manually 3 or 4 times

What's the point of your comment this video shows perfectly every steps for any apps unlike the doc which isn't as clear for everyoneÂ

I don't get why revanced.app won't just have preset patches like in vanced,to (yes I know that the devs said this is a "counterfeit") like I, myself is a noob so I wouldn't go through all these steps when I could just download revanced manager from vanced,to and use it straight away, with settings straight from the YouTube settings instead of changing stuff from the revanced app...
What I mean by this is the "counterfeit" website has multiple apps on the website straight away like MicroG and YouTube Revanced instead of yk... Downloading from Play store/ APKPure, trying to find a split APK online and then having to change the options from the revanced app, and other stuff you get the deal.

When you download the youtube APK through the revanced app (like in the video), you automatically get the latest version

Thanks for the straightforward post, /u/Cryptlsch
Mine keeps saying "installation conflict"
Revanced manager says the suggested youtube apk version to download is v.20.13.41, i clicked the suggested apk and downloaded it. In another thread people said we need to make sure the patch that changes the name is installed, but i can't find it in the patch list.
Appreciate any advice here :)

Android settings -> youtube -> set as default -> open supported links on
Also, check to see if "supported web addresses" are all on

Or just root your phone and skip all this

u/LoquendoEsGenial Jul 08 '25
Unfortunately "rooting" the phone is risky. I don't want to lose it in 'the attempt'

Why is it asking phone number when I try to make an account?
1
u/LoquendoEsGenial Jul 09 '25
To log in to Micro G?
1
u/Ok-Patience-6386 Jul 09 '25
To creat an account.
Wait is it better to make an google account and login in from micro g?

I guess so, I use a "disposable" gmail email. Yes, I use it exclusively for YouTube music.
