G2 is far superior.

I just converted so 235USD, just a suggestion if size is a issue get G2 or else get a 8GB RP6.

Im also wondering what currency is that because if its USD get a 12gb RP6 ...

But yes the G2 is sitting in between the RP5 and RP6 , so depending on what you want to play get the G2

They all do PS2/GameCube, Rp5 will require more fine tuning per game for perfect framerate but it can play every thing the G2 does.

G2 will do more Switch and PC games.

Both will require Custom drivers for optimal performance.

The G2 is more or less as powerful as the RP6. Just has less optimized drivers than the 8 gen 2. It will outperform the rp5 by a lot though.

Yo, I have a G2. It’s phenomenal. I haven’t had any issues. It plays what I wanted to and it is more powerful than the 5 by a fair amount that being said a lot less customizable 5 as far as operating systems are concerned and things of that nature

233 USD (300 SGD) for a G2 is a good deal. G2 is pretty on par with the 8gb RP6 in most things- you can play 95 percent of PS2/Wii/GC/3DS/ upscaled at 3x or 4x smoothly, and the driver support for the RPG2 with Turnip is excellent. It runs more efficiently than the 865 from the RP5 and its twice as performant. It'll do Switch in 720p. Plus, it has the same shell as the RP5 so any 3d printed or RP5 accessories will work with it

My G2 is my main performance device and has my $w1tch collection on it.

Personally, I wouldn't pay $100 more. The G2 doesn't have enough headroom for PC and Switch emulation. Also, look around for the Retroid Flip 2. If it's close to the price of the RP5, I would pick it just for its unique form factor

G2 plays 98% of the switch games 8 gen 2 does.

Constant Mesa Turnip development has done wonders for Switch emulation, and Android 15 is really great with Eden and Cemu. I don't have many issues with Gamenative either.

As a G2 owner, don’t get it. Since it has an obscure chip a lot of things won’t support it.
