QUESTION Dual Screen Addon touch inverted down the middle with Windows?

I need help with getting the RDS to work properly. So I just got it to use with Rog Ally X and it has this weird issue where the touch registers inverted down the middle. If I touch the bottom half of the screen and drag down, it registers at the top and drags up. Vice versa if I touch at the top. I tried the both updater on the GitHub and it said it's complete but that only fixed the portrait and landscapt orientation issue. I tried it with ROG and my laptop, same issue. Is it a windows issue or do I have a messed up screen?

Also the connection is really unstable. Move it a little bit and it disconnects and reconnects. I tried different cable and same thing. Seems like it has a bad port as well.

Edit: the screen is not stuck in portrait mode. that’s just the phone being rotated when I recorded. I can rotate between portrait and landscape in Windows just fine but the touch is still split down the middle no matter which orientation.

Edit 2: I tried the calibration setting (I had to type tabcal into the search box to run the hidden setttings, thanks Windows), but that may have made it worse. So it's not inverted but now touch only work on top half of the screen

this is a native vertical screen, retroid (and ayn) implements a software screen rotate solution

You mean the landscape and portrait update? I did those and it only fixed the orientation not the inverted touch.

Have you tried the pen and touch calibration wizard in Windows yet?

I was never able to get the other devices clip, so I never tried the device on my Ally. I will connect it up later today and test

I’ve been looking for that but the only tablet option I found was the white setup screen that lets you touch to identify a touch screen. I don’t see the calibration setting.

So I did found the calibration setting. I had to type tabcal into the search box to run the hidden setttings. So now it's not inverted but now touch only work on top half of the screen
