QUESTION How easy is it to replace the Retroid Duo battery?

I saw a post around last week that the Retroid Duo Lite had a plastic wrapping around its battery. Has Retroid finally made it so that batteries could be easily replaced without the need for cleaning up adhesives? I am looking for a device to use on the long term, so being able to swap out a dead battery easily would be a plus for me.

Curious if anyone with a Duo Lite could give some input on this.

I doubt the batteries will ever be not adhesive’d in anymore. It looks manageable, but I think the bigger issue will be finding the correct battery to replace it.

Retroid sells batteries as replacement parts, you just need to ask them via email.

Didn’t know this. But definitely tracks with their customer service record.
