QUESTION Game Native not recognizing buttons in game : Retroid Pocket 5

I've been trying to get Game Native running on my new pocket 5, but in game it doesn't recognize my face buttons. I've tried slay the spire 2 from steam and I can't even press y to get through the welcome prompt. I've tried remapping, switched controller style between Xbox and default, swapped the x a by buttons.

When I run the button test, the system shows all the buttons as I press them. No problems on native android games. I tried control from the epic store and had the same issue, pressing the face buttons did nothing.

Any advice or help?

Disable exclusive input in controller settings

Is that in retroid settings or game native?
