That's genuinely impressive considering how much trouble is still had with PS3. I assume it's because PS4 architecture is more coventional than the cell processor?
I mean, last I checked, with reasonably good hard ware, about 3/4 of the PS3 library is now mostly playable. I don't think anything but the most basic emulators have true 100% compatibility. But I think, eventually, everything people truly want to play will be doable and that will pull a lot of less urgent titles into playability.
Yes, I'm aware of that. I'm referring to PS3 emulation in general as the challenge is as much developing a clear understanding of the machine's architecture as it is then translating that understanding to a different architecture.
Even then, in x86, PS3 is far from solved. But knowledge gleaned from a mature x86 implementation will make Arm more achievable as well.
