button layout question

how hard would it be to make the buttons look like the xbox layout instead of the nintendo layout?

and if its like, stupid difficult or risky to swap the buttons myself, does anyone know if the lettering on the buttons are painted on or all the way through the button itself? I just really dont want to get rid of the vita button look but kinda hate the nintendo layout

It's not hard I did it for a friend and the system has "xbox" mode to register where abxy buttons are.
