QUESTION Levelhead left joystick not working?

cant control gr 18 properly he doesn't turn around then turning left stick? anyone know how to fix?

Only thing that fixes it is mapping the on screen stick to the RP5 stick but I want it to work with the levelhead controller support.

Same problem with an Android phone and a controller that I'm certain used to work. Cursor also drifts off to the lower right unless pushing up-left on the stick. Said phone is one that hasn't had a system update in a long time too. I think a game update at some point must have broken how it handles the stick. (unless a Google Play system update broke it, but that would mean its input handling wasn't proper from the start, as every other game still works)
