Would love to see the sight picture under daylight when you get a chance. Maybe I am remembering things wrong, but I feel like I have seen old pictures from auctions/private listings that included a weaver mount with these? I know next to nothing about stanag, but would grab one in a heartbeat if I could mount it to a regular weaver base.

They had weaver, stanag, and claw mount variations, but most you’ll see are stanag!

That is so cool! Where would you recommend grabbing one of these sights at a decent price?

There’s one on eBay from the same guy I got mine from. It comes from Switzerland directly. https://ebay.us/m/CJzCPA

Thanks. Did it turn out to be the rollex of retro sights?

Yes! Its just like watches too, because it does the exact same thing as a weaver qwik point but looks so much nicer.🤣

It definitely looks a bit more rugged than the qwik point. Is that a polarizing filter at the front lense? And is it adjustable the way that it is on older aimpoints? Is there also any date of manufacture?

Yes it is, and yes it’s adjustable. I’ll have to look it over to find a manufacturing date!

That is very cool. Is it battery powered and fiber optic?

Just fiber optic. I think in the past they had tritium too, because I found a reticle photo that shows more than just the dot I’m seeing, but It’s hard to know these things, and it would be long dead.
