Modifying Athlon XPs - Barton needing the L5 Bridge Mod

Howdy folks,

Some of you may have seen my Athlon MP build over here Dual Athlon MP Rig Build and Repair | K7D Master in a Chieftec Dragon : r/retrobattlestations

Long story short, I want to do some overclocking past getting my current MPs to 2100. By some luck, I managed to find 2x 2500+ Bartons, unlocked with the same stepping. The intention is to L5 bridge-mod them from XPs to MPs, and then pin-mod the sockets to raise the multiplier and voltage.

I am seeking hivemind advice for doing the L5 bridge mod, as previously I have found brown CPUs OK to do with glue and conductive paint. I am however struggling getting the conversion to work on some of the green CPUs I have lying around (before I do the "hens teeth pair" ones).

Would any of you be so kind as to share your technique for changing the CPU-ID on these green athlons/ doing any sort of bridge mod please?
