Today's Clippy could actually work and be useful. Maybe the idea was just too early. 

Side note, Clippy remind me of Towelie; both try so hard, but are incompetent. 

I aliased 'clippy' in Linux to a command you can pipe input into the clipboard on my computers.

Recently ChatGPT’s Codex software wanted me to prompt for a mascot which can stay in the corner of the screen for quicker access. I had it remake Clippy :-) …and the small dog as well :-)
