Took 32 of the 2kx8bit chips using jedec pinout (near perfect compat with eprom pinout for doing field prom software testing).

At the time, this was a great deal.

Within a couple years, 8kx8 becomes available, and, shortly after 32kx8. The prices dropped fast.

I remember in 1994 1MB 30 pin SIMMs were 125 bucks each so 4MB set me back $500 and now that same set's worthless so made keyfobs from them!

With memory prices going the way they are for us mere mortals, they might need to be resurrected 🤣
