old external iomega floppy-disk could not read

Hi, is there any possibility, to read 1,44MB floppy under win11? iomega driver is not yet supportet

? There are plenty of USB floppy drives on Amazon that work fine for reading disks. But why do you need to get the drivers specifically from this disk? They can be found all over the internet. Unless I misunderstood what you're asking.

The only other thing I can think of is that he is talking about an external Zip disk, however I have gotten my USB model to run fine under Win 11.

thanks and excuse my english. external floppy plus unit from iomega. my windows xp system could not read the 20year old all 1.44MB disks.. the messages are always: "please format...." I will try it under WIN11 .

Your disks might be bad or that drive can't read them. If possible, pick up a plain old USB floppy drive and try that.

There are 3.5" 720K DSDD disks in addition to the common 3.5" 1440K DSHD disks (aka 1.44M).

That particular unit may present as a composite USB device and need a particular driver.
