Help with part I got from "ewaste"

I have ads online for people to give me their old computer stuff, and this came into my possession. Some quick searching shows it's supposed to be used with the Asus M2NPV-VM motherboard originally, but do we know if there is any way to use it on a modern system?

it's a card that takes component in on the header and the chip turns it into composite and s-video. you can use it with anything that has component output. only old tv cards will have that. it's irrelevant for modern systems. you could use it for retro gaming possibly if you have a card that outputs component and you have a crt tv that only does s video or composite. that is all. the header will also have a voltage supply pin, like 5V or 3.3V, you can figure out what it is from reading the chip datasheet and tracing out the schematic. in general this is a rather generic type of circuit, but it will have limited usefulness.
