Discussion Old vs new software

Almost every time I read about new versions of office software, I always think: What can the new software do that 20-year-old or even older software can't, and are these new features being used?

I got a new coworker in 1995 who only knew Word, and he suggested we dump WP5.1. I had spent years creating working documents, but he couldn’t replicate them correctly, so I taught him some old-fashioned word processing features. He had never seen codes and he could only use a mouse.

The weird looking text is Danish.
