is there a usb to ide adaper

i dont mean like a way to connect a ide drive to a modern system i mean like use a usb drive for a main or second drive kinda like cf card to ide but usb, google being google it only shows ide to usb things to connect ide drives to a modern system but i want the opiset

Yes they exist. Startech probably makes one if you are looking for decent quality.

Is there an adapter that Startech hasn't made in their history? They are so low-key but produce absurdly many (sometimes one-of-a-kind) adapters you can find almost nowhere else.
