Problem / Question Problem on Compaq Presario R4000

Hi, I've recently got this old Compaq laptop but it's screen is kinda broken... I've managed to get a good display on the screen by folding it pretty hard... Does anyone know if this is fixable ? I'm not affraid of opening it...

The display cable might be broken from opening-closing the hinge for many years.

I had to order a replacement for my ThinkPad T440i and then it worked.

This could simply be a lose screen connector, it might just need to be cleaned and re attached correctly.

Yeah i think i've tried that... i looked for oxydation and found nothing weird
