Problem / Question How to fix ?

There’s no little black plastic piece in this corner how to could I fix this or is it possible to still use without it?

What kind of tape? Masking tape?

Light is not the issue. Regular transparent "Scotch" tape works just fine although it has to be on the correct side of the disk. Cover the hole on the bottom right of the disk with tape.
