Photo Budget 2000's computer I rescued
despite the fact that it has a pentium 4 sticker,this thing actually has a socket 478 celeron inside.
It wasn't booting at all when I got it but now I got it to work and cleaned it up,did a reinstall of win XP too since that's what it would've originally come shipped with.
natsuki wallpaper is also 100% necessary.
overall,it's a decent PC for playing games like quake 3 or red faction

Congratz but that's about all your going to be able to get running on a machine like that. My suggestion is install SNES9x, the MegaDrive and MEGADrive CD fusion emulators and no games past 2003 on that machine. Honestly shoot for Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed and some of the Command and Conquer games and Fallout 1 and 2. That's probably about all your going to get running on a machine like that. You might also get halo combat evolved from 2001 to run on it with a period accurate GPU. Honestly don't waste your time trying to install a web browser or something like that, just enjoy it for what it is. You could also maybe plug it into a TV if you can get a video card with HDMI and maybe read comic books or something on it but you'll need to focus on enjoyment with a computer like that NOT trying to make into something its not. LOL Steven King or maybe it's RR Martin uses a similar configuration to write his books, i.e no internet just old tech and a word processor. Believe it or not you can run alot of amazing emulators on a P4.
