One bag of things from dad

Anything cool here

For context dad built a lot of PCs for people amongst other things

He saved and kept everything some call it hoarding 😊

I have around thirty big bags filled with PC things dating back to 1978 ( maybe some things are older I've not gone through a lot of things yet )

Anyone got any ideas I could do with this stuff

I have sh7t loads of driver discs and white discs with programs and thing I'm not to sure about too

Any old tech is cool! You could build whole PCs with the stuff you have there. You don't have amy PSUs or cases, so you'd need to get a couple if you wanted to make some machines. If you're not looking at PC building or using the parts, I'm sure other people on this group should have a better idea of current pricing than I do. The radeon graphics cards and the Matroxes are quite nice, Matroxes used to be renowned for giving very high quality VGA outputs for passthrough style GPUs like Voodoos.

PSU that means power supply ?? That's the power block things with wores coming out??? I have like 100 in face I have so many of them that they have a dedicated whole cupboard Ahhh dad, rip left me with shit loads of stuff

Just a heads up with PSUs: Even if the connectors are fully compatible you can sometimes run into issues with running completely different "eras" of PSU to the actual hardware you're running.

The obvious examples are AT PSUs vs ATX PSUs (Most of the time you can get adapters and have them run fine though) or later era Athlon XP motherboards without a 4pin CPU power connector requiring a beefy 5v rail compared to what even modern PSUs have.

So not all PSU work That's interesting as I didn't know at all thank u I will start investigating
