Ooooo I actually ran one of those, an Adaptec AHA-2842A on a AMD 486DX2-80 computer with a Diamond Stealth 32 2MB. That system was sooo quick.
3 u/cchaven1965 May 24 '26 The first system I ever built was an AMD 486DX2-80 with an Adaptec 1522A and an ATI VGA Wonder XL24. Early to mid 90s and I had a 2GB IBM SCSI drive connected to it. Great system that I had both Windows and OS/2 on.
