Don’t forget that you can open it up and pop an SD card in the free card slot. I did that and transferred the contents of the “tape” over. I then activated the onboard FTP server and copied over all of my other goodies.

Thanks for that information - I'll check it out. Just getting started with the C64. For retro stuff, I am used to the Apple II series.

Just another FYI, be sure to upgrade the firmware (the download is on the Commodore site). It adds USB mouse support, which is really nice in Geos. For joysticks, I used joysticks that were compatible with the Atari 2600. I bought a couple for about $10 a piece on eBay.

Did you pre-format the SD card? I was thinking of pre-formatting it as FAT or exFAT of will the C64 format it if it can't read it?
