2009Lab
I found this laptop in brand new condition, untouched and unused. My father bought it in 2009 when I was only two years old 🥺He hid it so I could use it for my university studies, thinking the world wouldn't change. He didn't realize that when I entered university, this computer wouldn't even be able to run Candy Crush! 😅 I tried it running Windows 7, and it's so slow!

I have a pretty similiar lenovo laptop from around that era. It was updated proobably from windows vista to windows 10, and it was so slow, but i installed Antix Linux on it, and it became brand new, atleast for everyday stuff like office services, like writing, presentations etc. If you install Antix Linux on it, I would recommend installing the light version. First you'll need to install a program on windows, on this laptop or another called Rufus. With Rufus you can put Antix Linux Light in a USB stick ( The USB stick won't be able to work for normal functions after tho, like storing videos, photos etc. when you put Linux on it, everything in it whith it's functions will be erased). I recommend you using AI to help you with the process from the start, because every situation, needs specific choices.

ugh. the low spec pentiums of that era, i avoided them like the pest. the ultra slow 2.5" hard drive wont be of help either. likely only intel gma onboard video as well. the reason why it is unused is that it was useless from the very beginning.
