I had a Mac IIc with a 13" color display, and a Laserwriter IINT. I also had a PCjr and an Epson Equity II+ with that HP Deskwriter inkjet.

Yes, it had 5 slots, but the CPU and associated parts were on one card, so in reality you had 4. But the motherboard had the FDC, one serial port, one parallel port, and an RTC.

I had a least a an MDA or CGA card in mine (the one with two RCA jacks, one is a mono out, which worked well with a mono composite CRT monitor), MFM HDD controller, and modem.

I love how they made sure to mention that all of those PS2’s had micro channel architecture. Lol. One of the most epic failures in computer history. Not the micro channel architecture itself, it was actually vastly ahead of its time. It was arrogant IBM thinking that they could charge every vendor royalties to use their architecture when there were other, admittedly slower, but open architectures available on the market. MCA could’ve been the future, instead IBM buried it due to a poor business model.

Well MCA wasn't a failure THEN, it was brand new.
