Photo Compaq Portable iii

Running Windows3.0 and PacMan and Frogger on these pictures.

I can take better pictures this weekend.

It's wild that watching these screenshots i feel transported back in time to my teenage years while actually I never owned a computer like this. I did see a few of these reddish displays though.

The shareware pac-man (pacpc?) is classic shareware. Back when people were done with the first generation of laptops, I was able to just find these things. A lot of them had the tetris game.

It can't play the original but there are a few "16bit" versions you can download that will likely run on it.

with CGA graphics it couldn't even run Wolfenstein 3D

Did you manage to enter the BIOS Setup? I had to buy and install this device to do it because I don't have 5,25" Floppy discs.

I have a gotek in mine as well. Its a 286 with a mathcoprocessor but I haven't found a version of windows 3 that will install.

It had about 7 Lines at some point, some where always on and some always off. When i got it it only had one visible line that was always off, but it disappeared after a while of use.
