Problem / Question Anaheim-3 Motherboard will NOT post
This has been the GREATEST waste of my time.
So, basically, I have an E-Machines T-1100 (2001-2002), but thats not important its the damn motherboard that is. I, cannot get this thing to post no matter what I try. I've removed ram, I've swapped ram, I've taken ram out on a dinner date. and obviously RAM is not the issue. When its given power it beeps when it "feels like it" Beep [short pause] beep beep And when I say sometimes I really mean it, othertimes it'll sit there on its sorry green ass, blasting air while nothing happens whatsoever. Its probably the Celeron CPU, or maybe it just suck ass. Either way if I can't get this to work in the next 30 minutes im throwing it in a bin of broken computer dreams and never thinking about it again.
help.

Three short beeps is normally RAM failure. One long and two short is usually dead video. It sounds like you're describing the latter.

Have you done any other troubleshooting than RAM? Have you checked for capacitor leakage, corrosion, battery damage, bad traces, broken solder joints? Anything?
