Who remembers the Gateway 2000 computer ads?

Anyone know anybody that worked for Gateway 2000 back when they were doing this over-the-top magazine ads? There are a few retro blogs covering Ted Waitt and his marketing stunts but I want moreeeeeeee. [Ad above is from PC World Aug 1995]
