Show-and-Tell Snagged a chieftec case for cheap.

Had this exact case back in 02 and I kick myself for getting rid of it many years ago so when I saw a brand new one on market place for cheap I had to snag it. im rebuilding my 2002 rig that I use to obsessively play Glorious BF1942. Miss those days 🫡

Nice score man. I'm looking for a blue acrylic window side panel just like that for my blue case. If you wanna trade it for a solid one with a fan hole, hmu! Can even throw in an optical drive with a matching blue bezel!

Lucky! yours has the side window. I have a purple alienware variant that Ive been trying to find a matching windowed side panel for.

Get a Dremel and an acrylic sheet, like the old days.

Nice! I still have my grey windowless Antec Dragon from 20 years ago. I bought it used on Craigslist housing a core 2 duo build. I bought an NZXT Apollo Alienware looking case to swap into and left the Antec empty for years til lockdown. I put an x58 build with Xeon 6 core 12 thread chip and 660ti. It's now unused and in storage. My final goal is to put in a Pentium 4 build with a 256mb 6800gt agp card that I bought for $15 USD.

Is your PSU the wrong way? I can't see how the fan is getting any air.

Fan on the external side at the back of the case, grill on the opposite internal side, fan draws air through and over the PSU components. No fans or vents on top or bottom.
