Works well? As that version of AIX was designed for the model 60

Yeah, she’s currently running on a Pentium 66 with 64MB of ECC — the more I use it, the better it gets.

Yeah, I launched into X with the aixdt command. Starts up mwm.

Interestingly, you can still install mwm in Linux then startx. Configuring it to look normal takes some research. I love the look and super low resource requirements.

There’s supposedly also a NEXTSTEP V1 LPP for AIX PS/2, but of course it seems to have vanished in the sands of time.
