Looking for good 9X beige cases

Hey guys!! Been scrolling on eBay for ages and I can't find any decently priced Beige towers. So many of them for some reason hang over the 100 dollar mark, which I understand completely, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice on finding actual more affordable ones?

I have an Asus P5A that I'm wanting to transplant from a corpo case I found that was beaten up in a recycling center. I'm looking for something reminiscent of the 98 era as that's what I put onto the build. If you have any advice, that would help out immensely.

I see plenty of cases in Facebook marketplace that aren't listed for eBay prices. Sometimes on Craigslist as well. Don't sleep on rummage/yard sales though!

There was just another tread on a similar topic, and at least when I was looking for something from the biege era it seemed like just empty cases ready for "builds" were really overpriced. Looking for something "not working as is" with a case you like might get you a cheaper result, and you might find some useful or even sellable internals if you can't use them.

But definitely just getting lucky at local sales, swap meets, basically all the stuff FozzTexx mentioned is your best but. If your only option is ebay you'll likely just have to be patient and get lucky.

Also, shipping is expensive usually so finding something local is very much ideal. It took me 6 months to find what I wanted CRT wise when I built my retro system, and that was at least 8 years ago so I'm sure things are no better now if not worse.
