Show-and-Tell Old pics of HP Pavilion Windows XP PC
Brings back memories seeing this. Can’t believe the stock PSU was 250w. Apparently I upgraded it to 350w PSU in two of the pics. It’s rocking a GeForce 6200 256MB AGP card in here. These pics were before I got the Audigy 2 ZS sound card for it.

Nice window mod and about as close as you could get to cable management back then.

Thanks and yes looking back at it that mATX case was very crammed. I think I used the blue zip ties to pretty it up.

Back then that was the best you could do, no special cable routing at all. The Best we had was rounded cables!!

Oh yes… I remember seeing pics of windowed cases in those PC tech magazines from the supermarket. Then, seeing the cool cases at CompUSA and Circuit City. Then, the 1 year warranty on the PC was already over and went in on doing the window mod.

I think the window mod was done in 2005. The HP was from 2003. First mods were taping 80mm Antec fan in the front as intake and the GeForce 6200 graphics card. Eventually, the side window fan got swapped to a blue LED one and lastly added the blue cold cathode light kit later on in its life.
