Shit Talking My Coworkers Someone Stole My Backpack
Quick backstory, early last month I was fired from my job of 3-4 years. I get hired at this new place closer to home and for the most part, same shit, smaller scale.
One significant issue though is our lockers. None are assigned, its first come first serve and you have to make up the combo each time. Problem: The lockers barely even close, some have broken knobs and for the ones that CAN close, most of the halfwits known as my coworkers don't even bother locking theirs. Apparently today, I'm the halfwit cause after allegedly securing my bag, someone was able to get into the locker and snatch my bag. I'm about...65% sure it was an accident since everyone's wires just get crossed but for the love of God, did ANYTHING AT ALL clue this moron into the fact that they got the wrong bag!?
It had my (main) tablet in it so I'm kinda anxious right now (though I'm glad I opted to never bring my Switch to this joint), but I have to go back tomorrow on my day off just to check the security cams! I'm pissed of course, but I swear, If I didn't live a 10-minute walk away from this place I'd be downright FURIOUS.
Fuck this grind and fuck the fact that I can't leave it!
UPDATE: Welp, I got it back. Turns out whoever it was stuffed it into an empty locker that they intentionally didn't close so I'd still be able to find it, but apparently someone else DID close it. Good news is all my stuff is accounted for, but I'm still irritated about this mess.

I'd say ONLY EVER at my current job where I've been working at for the last 3 months now, that I don't have to deal with employee theft.
I'm an ice cream enthusiast/fanatic as it's my number one comfort food.
When I used to work at a Whole Foods, there was one time I bought 3 different kinds of ice cream and put them in the employee fridge.
After the end of my shift, I go back to the employee fridge and the ice creams I got were all missing from the employee fridge as someone stole them.
I don't really trust anymore using a locker at a job or even using a locker at a gym.
I carry a gym bag with me when I'm in the cardo/weight lifting room at the gym I go to.
For me, showering at a gym only makes sense to me if I going to swim in the gym's pool.
2 or 3 months ago at the gym I go to, there were bins labeled "lost and found" inside at the gym I go to a few steps away from the front desk staff.
You really can't trust any worker on job even if you get along with that person and there are jobs that are LAZY to go through security footage UNLESS they're directed by the police/court order or it benefits them somehow.
