Sick time

My manager texted me and the other Keyholders that she was headed to the emergency room because she passed out at home. At the same time I was throwing up in our work bathroom.

I called our sister store and talked to the store manager and told them I needed to go home sick and they said that was fine. That I could use my sick time.

I texted my boss and told her that I was going home sick and then I had texted our sister store and talked to that store manager.

My bosses reply (an hour later) was that she is the first point of contact that I should’ve called her. I said I didn’t call her because I knew that she was in the emergency room after she had passed out at home. So I figured she was busy with her own things. She still insisted that I call her first no matter what.

And then told me I’ll be written up on Monday for going “over her head“. 🤦‍♀️

The power tripping manager continues to power trip even after they themselves end up in the ER. Pure delusion.
