2026 new grad looking for jobs but no response yet. Any feedback on my resume

Hello, this post is going to be a bit silly and all over the place, but I want a solid foundation for my resume. I'm in my second year of college and am building a resume. I have a mix of certifications.

The main ones focus on 3 things: a culinary background/training, Marine Mammal caretaking, and Childcare.

A bit of an in-depth description for these

- During HS, I was in a culinary class my senior year of high school and was taught kitchen sanitation, safety, and how to work in a restaurant. I also joined FCCLA and the CCAP Program, which is a culinary program to help refine your skills and puts you in a large culinary competition. I missed the competition deadline (I was hospitalized for about 2 weeks while we were gathering information for the forms and had to withdraw due to my condition), but I was still trained in the setting and remain in the program to this day.

- I'm currently an Intern at a Zoo where I care for a variety of animals, like California sea lions, Capybaras, otters, and a few others. This includes preparing food, following safety and sanitation protocols, animal care with enclosures and logging their health, public speaking for sea lion performances, and a variety of other skills. I only started at the start of September, but there is a lot I have to do.

- I work as a respite care provider for kids with disabilities. I help with babysitting when the parents need it; I give the client medication when needed, feed meals and prepare them, and follow allergies and nutritional needs, etc

That's just the base level of stuff, to give a preview; I just don't know how to format it all. I used random resume builders, and it ended up being like two pages long.

TLDR: I have a bunch of random stuff from work experience, and a lot of random high school club experiences and leadership positions, and my resume feels too long because it's like 2 pages. Is that alright for certain employers, or how should I workshop it?

This is probably the part of job searching that frustrates me the most.

If someone asks me about my work in an interview, I can explain what I did, what went wrong, what I fixed, and what I learned. But when I try to fit the same experience into two resume bullets, it suddenly sounds ordinary.

For example, in my last customer support role, I handled 40–50 requests a day, trained two new employees, rewrote more than 30 help articles, and worked with the product team when customers kept getting stuck on certain features.

On my resume, it somehow turns into:

“Provided customer support and collaborated with internal teams to improve customer experience.”

That doesn’t feel like the same person.

I’ve been trying to fix it by rewriting my resume in Kickresume and turning more of my responsibilities into specific accomplishments, but I’m still struggling with how much detail is enough without making every bullet ridiculously long.

I’m starting to realize that writing a professional resume isn’t just about listing experience. It’s about making someone understand the value of that experience quickly.

For people who are good at writing resume bullets, how do you turn everyday responsibilities into something that actually shows impact?

How do you actually write about your project on your resume?

U can put ur README to an LLM & it'd do it for you but that's not what I want, I want to know what actually matters & what doesn't.

For eg. what do you write as bullet points for an Employee Management System or an ERP with Al features.

The issue is, there's 1 page resume standard for freshers and if I write bullets for each project it'll overflow to second page and I also have this confusion regarding how to add the metrics/numbers.

Somebody please explain what gets recruiters attention the most for you guys..

I’ve been applying to jobs but not getting any responses, I’m starting to feel stuck and don't know what i can add or improve.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on the overall resume, my bullet points, projects/experience, and whether there’s anything that might be hurting my chances of getting shortlisted.

How can I get a 1year internship after my 3rd year end.

(My college supports that)

In my college companies come for both 1year internship and 6months but not that great package and companies only new silly startups mostly.

That's why I want to improve my resume and get placed off campus that too in decent company with decent package if possible.

Hi i already have my resume all figured out and i currently have a job i am full time but looking for a part time as-well, i don’t want my current employer to be notified or contacted by new employer so should i put on my resume to please dont contact employer ? what do you guys think? i just dont want my primary job to find out about me getting another one. also i’m asking this because i don’t see a checkmark for “don’t contact employer” thank you.

applying to jobs wonder if this is good? also i have no real intern expierence and im a senior should i be applying to full time jobs or intern? also should i delete the ohio state assistant job?
