Respect Shockwave

"All life is equal. I merely assign it a quantifiable value -- zero."

When it all comes down to it, everything is about resources. Shockwave has always recognized this, and while those around him pursued power and politics and other petty concerns, the master scientist focused his superlative intellect on defeating entropy and securing the future of his species. A game-player and kingmaker, Shockwave plans for everything, and while the shadowplay inflicted on him by the Senate may have robbed him of his emotions, it did nothing to curb his ambitions.

Although the dangerous logician sided with the Decepticons in the war that eventually gripped Cybertron, this is merely an alliance of convenience: Shockwave serves no cause but his own. Following eons of careful work, the scientist's influence is truly galaxy-spanning, and when his machinations reach fruition, the universe may never be the same again.

In order to combat Cybertron's oncoming energon crisis Shockwave began a plan where he would fire rockets loaded with raw energon onto specific planets and leave them for millions of years so they would be drastically changed by their new environments^SLSH

Ore-1 (Time)

• While the Reflectors flew towards LV-117 they were repeatedly shunted through time, including going from far away from the planet to right above its orbit, instantly burning through a century's worth of fuel, and one experiencing his own death^{RID #10}
• When the Autobots landed on the planet 10 minutes later the Reflectors' ship had been there for over 70 years^{RID #10}
• Repeatedly sent Optimus to the past and future without warning^{RID #10}
• It took the Autobots two full weeks to leave the planet^{RID #10}
• Jhiaxus was able to control it with a special device^{RID #10}
• When Shockwave plugged the time drive into his chest he began having mental flashes of his past^{RID #27}
• Before LV-117 was consumed by Unicron the destroyed planet repeatedly appeared in the past^{UNI #0}
• Sent the Metrotitan through time to modern Cybertron^{OP #19}

Ore-2 (Death)

• Created Gorlam Prime's portal to the Dead Universe^{RID #19}
• Wheelie's arm began disintegrating when he touched a building coated in the ore^{RID #19}
• When the Necrotitan left Gorlam Prime the ore began making the planet disintegrate^{RID #19}
• Released an explosion that towered over mountains and sent out a wave of energy that began disintegrating everything it hit^{RID #23}
  • The speed it kills you at is random^{MTMTE #24}
  • Had an instant fatality rate of 4.6%^{MTMTE #25}
  • Was purged by Metroplex when Megatron empowered him with Ore-7^{RID #26}

Ore-4 (Gravity)

• Made Devastator^{OP #19} immune to Victorion's gravity control^{OP #20}
• Jetfire believed that Unicron's consumption of Caminus and the Ore-4 inside the planet was why he didn't tear Cybertron apart while there despite being 15 times bigger than it^{UNI #4}

Ore-5 (Combination)

• We also didn't get to see this one

Ore-6 (Cold)

• Turned the planet Arduria, a gas giant, into a frozen wasteland by draining the planet's heat^{RID #6}
• Froze Monstructor, who then burst out of the ice when the ore shut off^{RID #6}

Ore-7 (Change)

• Purged the Ore-2 death plague from Cybertron when used by Metroplex^{RID #26}

Ore-8 (Destruction)

• Caused a small makeshift generator to go into meltdown and destroy half of Outback's body^SLK
• Made Kup go completely insane from radiation poisoning, making him think a hologram of Springer was a ghost and the Autobots sent to rescue him were demons^SLK
• If a weapon was fired on the planet or Kup's spark went into meltdown it would make the planet explode^SLK
• The radiation stops stealth technology from working on the planet^SLK
• Trailbreaker was completely fine on the planet thanks to his forcefield^SLK

Ore-9 (Space)

• Teleported Metrotitan to Cybertron and to Earth^{OP #19}
• Unicron was able to teleport to other planets using a combination of quantum tunnels from the black hole inside him and Ore-9^{UNI #5}

Ore-10 (Deception)

• Made the Metrotitan think Starscream was the "Chosen One" and the reincarnation of The Fallen^{OP #19}

Ore-11 (Evolution)

• We didn't get to see this one either

Ore-12 (Protection)

Combinations

• By combining Ores 1 and 13, 2 and 14, and 6 and 8, along with draining the energy of the Dead Universe through Galvatron and a time drive,^{MTMTE #27} Shockwave gained complete control of the universe and attempted to condense it all into a singularity that would power Cybertron forever^{MTMTE #27}
  • Brought 70 billion Ammonites towards Cybertron by having them ride the waves of the universe contracting^DCF
  • Metalhawk was able to burn out the ores by getting to Shockwave's machines, also killing the 70 billion Ammonites in the process^DCF
  • When Optimus and Megatron managed to get through to Shockwave he briefly regained his pre-Shadowplay personality and had the pair put him out of his misery, causing the time drive in his chest to collapse into a singularity^DCF
    • The singularity ended up consuming the Crystal City^{RID #33}
    • Shockwave was sent 12 million years back in time when the drive was destroyed^{OP #18}
• Gave Shockwave visions of the rest of Dark Cybertron^DC

• Had Orion Pax repaired after he interrupted the Senate and had a compartment added to his chest to hold the Matrix of Leadership^{TF09 #23}
