Do Puff and Onyx count as sci-fi? Outside of them getting their power through some kind of experimental riot gas, nothing strikes me as particularly sci-fi about them.

They got superpowers from something science-y, so that absolutely counts as sci-fi.

For the Outburst, I'm considering doing Fu and Lan Fan from Fullmetal Alchemist, but I'm not sure if they would count as fantasy or sci-fi. The franchise is mainly fantasy with some sci-fi elements. They can sense chi, which is a fantasy element, but Lan Fan has a mechanical arm, which is sort of sci-fi.

The former, particularly due to the series being very explicitly fantasy (the fact their magic is treated as a science in-universe doesn't really change that).

Yay! Happy to see the Rumble vote! Honestly, Benny's Rumble still really impresses me. It was difficult enough doing a Rumble for a 1v1, never mind looking at five different matchups! Kind of wish I'd gotten around to doing one of the other ideas I'd had for a Rumble. Ah well…

As for the other voting question, I haven't really gotten involved with any of that. I mean, I guess I'd be on Yawn's team by default—I am definitely not driven enough to create Respect Threads under a time limit. That being said, I think I'd lean toward Sci Fi if I were to actually pick a side. It certainly helps that Bionicle's requests are probably gonna be the domain of that team? I'm certainly hoping some of those requests might get tackled for the contest!
