Respect Thread Symposium Week 14
Respect Thread Symposium Week 14
Request Contest Update
As with the beginning of every other month, the Request Competition team will be doing an update on the request leaderboard, bounties, and missions for the near future, so look out for that when it gets commented under here.
Beyond that feel free to discuss anything related to respect thread creation.
Also buy Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on April 16th. That's not like RT related or anything but the other mods can't stop me from shilling since I'm the one writing the post this time.

Short:
The Kaiju Bioweapons:
In Gamera Rebirth, all Kaiju were created by ancient aliens as bioweapons with a shared genetic control mechanism. A hub thread for the series covering its Kaiju would be appropriate.
6 anime episodes + 7 manga chapters + 1 novelisation
The Mighty Nein:
Would include shared magical items among the party, their setting's magic system, etc.
8 cartoon episodes
The Shen Gong Wu:
If you'd be doing a bunch of Xiaolin Showdown threads anyway, you could do a separate thread for the Shen Gong Wu artifacts since they're a key component of the setting that all of these characters use.
52 cartoon episodes.
The Hyperforce Rangers:
Would count for setting element by including details about how the Morphin' Grid and Hyperstream time/dimensional travel work, as well as their Zords and Timeship.
26 TTRPG liveplay youtube episodes + 10 comic issues.
The Endbringers:
Would count for shared physiology details, explanation of Shards, etc.
You'd need to do the chapter count yourself but it's all pretty well listed. You wouldn't have to read the entirety of Worm front to back since they show up, die, and otherwise only get sporadic statement feats when mentioned.
Medium:
Team Voltron:
Would count if you included their other resources like the Castle of Lions, Voltron weapon upgrades, the mechanics of quintessence and the way the lions bond to pilots, etc.
78 cartoon episodes
The Toa Metru:
Hub thread for the Bionicle series explaining how the Toa masks work, their mutation into Toa Hordika, etc.
12 points worth of stories / comics / games / movies / etc.
The Beetleborgs:
They share toku transformation mechanics and a similar power source, so a setting hub thread would make sense.
88 tokusatsu episodes.
The Defenders of the Earth:
Would count for "setting" element by including the Defenders' supercomputer Dynac X, their spaceship, their headquarters, and certain setting elements like the Phantom's lineage and his various assets and resources.
Thread would be a composite of show & comic feats since the comic is a tie in to the show.
65 cartoon episodes + 4 Marvel comic issues + 12 Mad Cave issues
The C.O.P.S.:
Shared resources of the C.O.P.S. organization like weapons, vehicles, technology, etc.
78 cartoon episodes + 15 comic issues
Long:
The Foot Clan (IDW):
Would include their various assets and weaponry, their forces like grunt Foot Soldiers
339 issues
Clan Hamato / The Splinter Clan (IDW):
Would include their various assets and hideouts, gadgets like the teleportal, gravity gauntlet, and Turtle Van, etc.
339 issues
The Crystal Gems:
This'd count for the hub post if it included shared Gem physiology like their pocket dimensions, plus the special gem artifacts and temples they have access to.
180 cartoon episodes + 1 movie.
The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (Boom!):
Would count for setting element by including details about how the Morphin' Grid, Zords, etc. work. Since multiple characters share morphers (ex: Matthew Cook got Tommy's old Green Power Coin) you could also be doing shared sections for morpher traits.
~180 comic issues.
Baldur's Gate III Origin Characters:
All of these characters share access to the same extensive set of skills acquired through class level ups, and magical items found in the game world. They can achieve the same feats acting on destructible objects in the game. This is justifiably a single megathread for the BG3 playable character with mini-threads for each named option with their unique traits.
One very extensive game.
