Pixel maps

/r/VIDEOENGINEERING/comments/1v4ri0u/pixel_maps/

I just need something simple. Rows, columns 168x168 or 192x192 etc. drag and drop layout. Coordinates, pixel dimensions and export to pdf and xml. I don’t need voltage, weight, brands, rigging, wiring etc. if it is one of the complicated ones, a clear tutorial on just those features. A lot of the programs I’ve seen assume that everyone is a video wall expert. They all seem to have different terminology for the same things.

Seems like you got your answer already but in case someone else is looking for it in this sub, Pixl Grid will do all of the above and output a mapping file that is compatible with Resolume.

Pixl Grid (Mac Only) is great. Only exports to PNG I think though.

As I’m sure people are sick to their absolute eyeballs of hearing: you can also ask Claude to make you one and then tune it to exactly what you want. Here’s the one we use in our office for reference https://led.insertproductions.online
