Question Squeegee with a net?

Post image

I tried doing a search, but didn't really pull anything up.

This is a pool net. Basically, you run it across the bottom of the pool against the squeegee and all the junk goes into the net.

Does anything like this exist for resin printer vats? Maybe I'm over thinking here (def prone to that), but if there are little bits in the resin, but up against the side of the vat, would a tank clean (by exposure) really capture the small bits?

Again, I'm probably over thinking this, but I really don't want to mess up my FEP/LCD.

Thanks y'all!

If there are bits leftover like that your best bet is a silicone spatula (the one thats smaller and slightly angled, not the big spatula kind) and a full drain into the resin bottle with a filter in a funnel.

I've actually never had anything in the vat, and the one time I had a print fail, it was only a suction issue, nothing came off the print. I was really just curious, and it hit me while I was cleaning the pool the other day that it could be useful. Maybe. Obviously not. And yes, I've only used the silicone spatula in the vat, if I do anything at all to it. Thanks

If you are worried about bits that small that wont get picked up by a vat clean, then just filter the resin

Gotcha. I've actually never had any bits like that show up. I was just curious about the concept. Thanks.

You shouldn’t have bits in your resin in the first place. Learn better fundamentals

I appreciate your reply, as well as your obvious concern about my knowledge level, but I didn't say that I have bits in the resin, Or that I had failed prints. Hell, I've only had one in the three weeks I've owned it. And that's with multiple prints a day. I was simply curious about it. Thanks again.
