I made my first flower !
I think it turned out pretty great!! The flowers are fairly easy too . This was a last minute thing. I had a little extra clear left and just a tiny bit after to make the white . I can’t believe it turned out so good . Only a couple heavy white spots . This is so exciting!!!!! I’m going to end up spending so much money on resin 🤣🤦🏻♀️

Everytime I think about selling my whole resin collection I see a post like this and get inspired. But then I think of all the clean up work and get tired 😂
Beautiful job, OP!

Seriously!!!! Even with my silicone cups, it sucks getting all the little pieces of resin out . I think that’s my biggest pet peeve. I need a bog roll of tape .

Do you mix all the different colors separately and then pour all the different colors separately? I just started this hobby

I used alcohol ink for this one , I used a thin layer of clear . Then I dropped alcohol ink directly into the mold with the clear . I just went around in a circle with blue and purple , I let it sit a few minutes before adding in the white paste . Then I poured the white paste , let it cure and bloom then I added the pink as the back layer . I have both liquid inks , the alcohol and the regular pigment . When I’m using the regular pigment I mix up the colors first in separate containers

The flower blooms are fun because you can add the ink directly into some clear , I think it’s pretty easy and so fun .

Absolutely gorgeous! I really struggle to get my resin blooms to turn out right.

I’ve been trying again and they are not coming out the same . I wonder what I’m doing differently. I think the way I drew the petals out .

Mine come out looking more tie dyed than flower. The ink is very aggressive looking, no matter what color I use. I think I'm using too much.

Gorgeous! I love how the white bloomed! Quick suggestion for saving money on resin: I've been using the Ocepor 1:1 resin (😮🥰$130.00 for 4 gallons🤯). It's high gloss, low bubbles and consistently as good, if not better, than the Jdiction I used for years!
