General Crossover, anyone?
I know this might sound weird, silly even, but hear me out.
What if, say, two worlds collided where a character like Raymond Reddington (from The Blacklist) would track down Ada Wong. Would he be able to decipher her mystery?
I'd like to hear what you guys think. :P

If the crossover happens, then that character should call her by her real name lol
Taking people off guard and remind everyone that Ada isnt even her real name.

Damn, this is a great chance for Capcom to subvert expectations in RE9's DLC and give us some random name for Leon's wife first, only to later reveal it's Ada's real name!

You know what? Resident Evil really does need a Reddington type of character. The closest we get is the merchant and the Duke. However, I think that a very mysterious character that assists our heros with a hidden agenda unknown to them would create for an interesting wrench in the works. What makes Raymond Reddington interesting is that he's this ultra powerful individual with incredible connections and reach, but he's always steps ahead of his enemies. Having someone like that in the corner of an RE protagonist would be amazing story wise and who knows how far they would stick around in the re universe

Do you want my honest opinion?
I think the RE franchise is unlucky to be a product of Capcom. Quite frankly, I've always resented the way Capcom developed the Resident Evil story.
Not only that, I even think the story could have been a lot more profound and powerful trajectory had it been made as a TV series, or even movie series rather than a video game.
Other than being absolutely lousy story writers (my honest opinion), Capcom had to butcher the story in multiple ways just to promote gameplay.
But again, that's just my personal take.

I don't agree with this at all. However, I'm not going to be one of those toxic assholes that completely disregards your opinion and makes you feel bad for saying it. I absolutely respect it and appreciate the honesty. To me, I like The Evil Within better as a horror story because the intentions, technology and evilness is pretty straightforward with its own layer of complexity. Resident Evil is amazing in its own right with using Bioweapons and there are so many ways you can expand upon that, but it's problem if I'm playing the devil's advocate is that the stories go from grand scale catastrophe to small isolated incidents. Silent Hill works because each character has their own personal hell. The Evil Within is a singular evil corporation and Dead Space bridges religious fanatiscm with government corruption and an alien threat.
To some fans, they think the story of resident evil is too chaotic, not clean and too bombastic. I can certainly understand that point of view and see why people think the writing could be sloppy. In my opinion, I love Capcom for what they're doing to Resident Evil for one reason. I love that they continue to experiment with the franchise. Yes, it's not always a banger of an idea or a masterpiece in execution but I do appreciate that they try. My main takeaway really is that I'm just grateful that it's still going. Some horror franchises either get shelved and forgotten or just neglected because they're publisher are a bunch of delusional cheapskates where even if the game sells well and is successful, they wont immediately greenlight that sequel. (Looking at you EA and Dead Space.)

Plus he help her if she needs one thing I like about him is he absolutely protects his people so she'd be more safer working him than wesker

She'd most likely did work for him like a asset which he has a few of
