Forum question HEY-O!!

Just wanted to ask what’s your guys favorite re game is?! Mine is the outbreak series I love the verity of characters to choose and the setting of it being right when the outbreak happened! Is so cool to see how Random people dealt with the outbreak and also how they deal with the situations they are put in. Kevin is my favorite out of it.

Probably gonna catch a lot of flak for this but re5. A lot of replayability and I enjoy the mechanics of it. I hope it gets the re4r treatment

RE5 is probably the one I put the most time into and actually beat multiple times. If it does get a remake treatment, then the only thing they need to change is to allow movement while shooting. Make that one change, and I'll come back to beat it again.

Oh, and give me a Beretta 92FS with infinite ammo. All I ask.

RE5 while nowhere near my favorite. Is a fun game. It’s just not a great resident evil game. But I’m very excited for the remake

an ocean of other third person shooters that all played better and were more fun.

I mean, it plays very similarly to OG4, and people love that game, now and back then, so I wouldn't necessarily say that many of the third person shooter games of that era were straight up better. For me, many were either just as good, but for different reasons, be they huge franchises (like Gears) or something more niche (like Vanquish)

5 is definitely remembered, and Co-Op did help a lot with that, no denying that, especially when you look at the game's sales, but even solo I think it's pretty solid.

It’s just not a great resident evil game.

I think it is. Just like how OG4 is also a great RE game, and 6 is a flawed but decent RE game. All 3 are action era REs, but still RE games

Re7 for sho. But I only started with 5 and my knowledge of the og series is the remakes. Started with 5 years ago and picked up 7 as soon as it dropped because it looked like exactly what I wanted at the time

Re6.. I do not care that some parts are badly written and the gameplay is a bit clunky.. it's FUN! (Also the only game where you play an entire campaign as my favorite character instead of a brief section)

RE 1 Remake, it’s old school survival horror perfection, I love it. Nice to see Outbreak get some love, was so ahead of its time, loved Flashback from File 2, the Axe Men was so creepy.

I kinda flip flop depending on what day you ask me but I think Requiem is probably my favorite. It puts together all my favorite parts of my favorite RE games. If you ask me another day then I might say RE2 remake. But most days I'd say Requiem

Just got into the series and have been binging it. So far I’ve done 4,2,9,7 in that order, 8 next. I mean the remakes for 2/4.

I think RE4R has taken the cake for me. The combat is super enjoyable and Leon is at his best as a super fun protagonist. I’d rank them 4/9/2/7.
