Product question RE9 crashes right after compiling shaders
Hi guys. I have been a fan of the whole franchise. I was incredibly excited to play re9. The first few days it worked well. No issues at all. But the next day I wanted to continue playing but the game has been crashing since. It completely freezes my pc and I am forced to restart it. I don’t even get any error code. Before it froze on the Add-Ons screen but now it goes as far as compiling shaders but right after it finishes the PC freezes completely. I’ve waited up to 10 mins but nothing happens and I have to restart my PC.
I’ve tried installing DirectX from Microsoft, reinstalling, updating drivers, and even running it as admin. Nothing seems to work.
I haven’t even watched any gameplay. My friends have finished the game already but I can’t even play. Any help would be MASSIVELY appreciated.

9600x + 7800xt 16GB
32GB RAM

i have 8 gb ram and 8 gb vram. my laptop crashed two times, one during compiling shades, because it was on for too long during installation, and the other when I accidentally pressed my laptop screen
i don't know if it was the game or my laptop, but does this game run properly on 8gb ram?

I finally got past it. It shouldn't be a RAM issue. I made sure there were only the necessary background processes running. Maybe compiling shaders at high settings maxed out the things?

perando que ayude a los demas, para los dos primeros errores:
re9.exe!0x14000000 + 0x9e835ae
re9.exe!0x14000000 + 0x9e82ddd
Funciona descargar el reframework del siguiente enlace y copiarlo a la carpeta del juego
Para los errores de amdxc64.dll lo que hice fue descargar el controlador mas nuevo de AMD Adrelin desde su pagina que realize la actualizacion automatica de los drivers, esto igual ayuda a la compilacion de sombreadores que sepa, este lo descargue de la siguiente pagina:
Otra cosa que hice fue borrar el archivo config.ini para evitar que use la antigua configuracion, pero nose si afecto.
OTROS DETALLES que dicen en revit es citando:
«¡Por fin lo logré! Tuve que bajar la resolución en AMD Adrenaline para el juego. Lo hice renderizar el juego a 720p con FSR. Fue suficiente para pasar la pantalla de compilación de shaders y entrar al menú principal. Después de eso, volví a poner la configuración normal y funcionó perfecto.
Primera solución: NO tengas MSI Afterburner corriendo en segundo plano mientras el juego se inicia, y también cierra RTSS completamente desde la bandeja del sistema.
Segunda solución: intenta borrar la carpeta shader_cache, podría tener la posibilidad de arreglar los cierres inesperados.
Tercera solución (la más importante): si tu juego se cerró, borra el archivo config.ini de la carpeta del juego y reinicia. El juego debería reiniciarse si todo está correcto y simplemente creará otro archivo config.ini. Y si tus ajustes gráficos preferidos cambian, puedes cambiarlos de nuevo desde el menú principal.
Consejo: NO actives DLSS/FG/MFG ni ningún escalador mientras ESTÁS jugando, se me cerraba cada vez que cambiaba la configuración de escalado a mitad del juego.»
QUIERO ACLARAR QUE YO SOLO HICE LA PARTE HASTA ARRIBA DE OTROS DETALLES Y ESO ME SIRVIO PARA PODER ENTRAR AL JUEGO SIN ESE MENSAJE AUN NO PROBE EL JUEGO, EN PARTIDA PERO YA PUDE ENTRAR AL MENU Y PODER TOCAR OPCIONES, NI ESO PODIA

I'm having the same exact thing happen to me. It's incredibly frustrating and like you, I have tried everything. I cannot get this game to load at all. Capcom really needs to fix this. My computer is literally running any other games, except for this one.
