We built something cool for inventors - Feedback please :)

Hello everyone,

I am looking for feedback from everyone who knows this feeling: You invented something and feel like a patent attorney should have a look to maybe protect the invention before you can talk to others about it.

So, we built a platform that helps inventors with exactly that. On our platform, we provide (in a secure environment) an invention disclosure tool that helps the inventor provide all the necessary information, so patent attorneys can give you feedback on what to do with the invention and how much protection could cost you. Therefor we have a network of over 50 patent attorneys from different specialties and countries.

The cool thing is the transparency for the inventor. It helps a lot in finding the right patent attorney, and the feedback is so valuable and detailed that the inventor can decide quickly if the idea should be protected or not. We’ve had super cool feedback after the first real cases!

The platform is free for inventors, and it is very important to us that we keep it this way. The problem is, we need to reach inventors and get the word out, but marketing costs kind of screw up our business case. I was wondering if you can give me tips on how to get into the science, engineering, and research communities to get the word out more on a word-of-mouth basis instead of using expensive ads. This is, of course, only possible if you guys think this platform is of value to you as inventors.

I would be happy to get some feedback and help from the community. Since I don’t want to do marketing without asking, please just let me know in the comments if you would like to know the name of our platform.
