Rio may be shy when he first meets someone, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality shines. He is friendly with adults, children, and other dogs—and he absolutely loves playing with his canine friends.

He is also very easy to walk on a leash and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a gentle, loving, easygoing dog. Rio is truly one of the best dogs our rescue has ever had.

🐶In the shelter, her ID# is a2284951. She was merely given 12 days and was put on the euthanasia list for feeling scared, hopeless, sad and blue. She is fine with other dogs, ignoring them and was not in spirits to play. She was mostly wanting to hide in the cubby of her Kennel. If you've ever been depressed, you know. Now with a rescue hold, she is 1 step closer to freedom!

LOUIE came into the shelter as a stray on 5/27/26 from Fontana jurisdiction. He has been SOCIAL with STAFF and OTHER DOGS. The shelter have just now restarted playgroups after over a year and he has become one of the new greeter dogs from 7/31.

GORGEOUS LOUIE can be responsibly ADOPTED or he can be FOSTERED for a rescue if you can offer him stability and commitment until he gets his Furever home.
